Cycling race features Eco Hi-tech Island scenery

2021-12-01

The Third Tour of the Nanjing Cycling Race Jiangxinzhou Station kicked off on the Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-tech Island on May 9.

About 2,000 participants from 17 cycling teams across China gathered to put their skills to the test.

The cycling route is a 22.4-km dam road loop starting at the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Forest Park and passing through surrounding green landscapes.

The competition was jointly organized by the Nanjing Sports Bureau, Nanjing Culture and Tourism Bureau, and other departments.

The Eco High-tech Island always puts the environment first, and built a transportation system based on "public transportation + slow traffic", making itself a perfect venue for hosting such an event.

The event has been successfully held twice, attracting about 10,000 people from all over the country.
